Deriving from his strong interest in artistic means of expression such as lines and surfaces, Oliver Schuß's work deals with the question of the aesthetics of objects moving between apparent functionality on the one hand and free forms on the other. Often surprising to the viewer, these questions of content articulate in succinct manner, as well in his highly precise photorealistic drawings as in his abstract sculptures and wall objects.
